Tips on How to Buy a Vintage Chanel Bag April 19 2022

I wanted to share an interview I did recently for the fabulous blog See Shop Eat Do by Whitney Campeau.   In the interview I share my tips on how to successfully buy an Authentic Vintage Chanel Bag. I hope you enjoy it!

“There’s just something about a Chanel bag. Owning one was on my sartorial bucket list for as long as I can remember, and the second I graduated from university (and had saved some money) I did my research, shopped around, and finally found a gorgeous one in great condition from a designer consignment shop in Santa Monica. It’s something that I’ll keep forever; it’s classic, goes with everything, and reminds me of that time in my life.

I had gotten to know the owner of the shop where I bought mine and trusted (and could feel) that the bag was real, but I know that buying one online is a whole different ballgame. There are so many websites and places to buy a used bag that it can be intimidating and confusing, and there are definitely some sellers out there who are looking to rip you off. I asked Rice and Beans Vintage owner Sarah a few questions on what to look for when buying vintage Chanel bags, what those serial numbers mean, and how to tell if a bag is fake:”
