What is Your Return Policy?

* If you would like to return an item (s) to Rice and Beans Vintage, please email Sarah at with in 24 hours of the package arriving. Failing to do so will forfeit your return.

* Once we have corresponded about the return, you will need to ship the item (s) within three business days to qualify for a return.

* All items being returned must have a tracking number associated with them.

If you would like to exchange or receive store credit you will have an unlimited time to use this credit at Rice and Beans Vintage, it does not expire.

If you would like a refund, you will get a refund in the same manner that you paid for the full amount of the item. Shipping is not refundable. 

All Sale Items and Layaway items are Final Sale and will not be accepted for return.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including: Visa, Master card, American Express, & Discover.  We also accept PayPal.  You will have the choice to pay with both at checkout. Always secure!  If you would like to pay with a personal check or money order please email us at so that we may place the items on hold for you until your payment arrives.   Thank you.

Do you Offer Layaway?

Yes!  We are happy to offer our clients the opportunity to place items on layaway.  Please contact us directly at or (207) 319-5851 to set up a payment plan.

• All New Arrival Items will be available for Layaway ONLY AFTER 24 hours of listing.  This gives everyone a chance to shop.  Please email us immediately if you are interested in layaway on a piece as once the 24 hour period is up, people will be contacted regarding layaway in order of emails or calls received. Thank you.

• We require a minimum deposit of $50 to place an item on layaway.  Once the deposit has been made the item is reserved for you and will not be sold to anyone else.  Layaway Items are NOT available to return for a refund and may only be returned for store credit.  

• All layaway items must be paid off in full within two months.  If you need more time, please contact us directly BEFORE placing the item on layaway. Thank you!

.  If you cancel or do not compete the layaway 10% of the purchase price of the item is non-refundable. This means that if you cancel the layaway, you will receive all of your funds back, minus 10% of the cost of the item.

How and When Will my Purchase be Shipped?

• All items shipped within the United States are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground and ship FREE!

• All International Orders ship for $25.00 per order. We Ship via USPS for International Orders.

• You may also have your International order shipped via UPS now!  Please chose the UPS shipping calculator at checkout for rates.

• Delivery Confirmation is included in the cost of all packages being shipped within the United States and the majority of International packages. 

 • If you need an item sent overnight, No problem!  Just choose the Express Overnight Shipping option at checkout ($35) and we will make sure your package arrives on time.

 • All purchases will be shipped within 5 days of purchase.  If you need it sent the same day, please contact us immediately.

Can an Item be Placed on Hold?

Yes, if you would like to have an item(s) placed on hold please contact us at or (207) 319-5851.  Generally items may be placed on hold for 7 days unless special arrangements have been made.  Items in our New Arrivals section may be placed on hold for 24 hours only.  If you need more time, just ask!  Don't forget if you have any item on hold and would like to purchase it, please contact us first as the hold will need to be removed prior to purchase.  If you change your mind, just let us know so that we may take the item off hold for other customers. Are your Designer items Authentic? 

All Items at Rice and Beans Vintage are Guaranteed Authentic!  We do not sell fakes.  We guarantee the authenticity of each item 100%.  We use a third party Authenticating Company to verify all of our Chanel Handbags.  This is a service we pay for before listing the bags!  We do not buy or wear fakes!  We stand behind each and every item at Rice and Beans Vintage, so shop with confidence.  Thank you!

How do I know if the item will fit me?

At Rice and Beans Vintage we pay close attention to details.  We measure each piece carefully and in most cases try to give you a "modern equivalent" in sizing.  Please check the measurements that we give against a current piece of your clothing.  This is a great way to make sure the piece will fit.  Please email us if you would like more measurements or photos.  We are always more than happy to get these for you.  Thank you!

Do You Buy Vintage & Designer?
